By using PDFyre (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

PDFyre provides free browser-based PDF tools — OCR, merge, split, compress, rotate, PDF to images and images to PDF. All processing runs locally on your device. PDFyre is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

2. Acceptable use

• You may only use PDFyre for lawful purposes and only with documents you have the right to process.
• You must not use PDFyre to violate copyright law, distribute unlawful content, or infringe the rights of others.
• You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.

3. Your documents

Your files are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to PDFyre servers. You are solely responsible for the documents you process and for keeping your own copies.

4. No warranties

PDFyre does not guarantee that any output (for example, OCR text or compressed files) will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. Always review processed output before using it. Processing is performed to the best of the underlying open-source engines' ability and may not be perfect, especially for low-quality scans.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFyre shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss. You use the Service at your own risk.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect changes, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
